Born and raised in Montclair, NJ, Samad Yasin Abdus-Sabuur Thomas better known by the music industry as Samad Savage, adapted a love for music at an early age. It was at the tender age of 6 when Samad laid his hands on his very first recording engineer program that his family quickly realized he had a knack for creating music. By age 8, Samad decided to pick up the pen and paper and get serious about making music. Drawing from the help and inspiration of his older brother, Aziz, Samad continued to master his art as a music producer and lyricist with the ambition of making a name for himself in music. Fast forward to today, at age 17, Samad is the producer of ECB (East Coast Business) and is recording new songs for his second mix tape.
