Writer Guidelines

Editorial/Mission Statement

Mirror Mirror Magazine’s mission is to serve as an outlet for emerging creative talent to gain exposure and recognition for their works while providing editorial content that is aimed to motivate.

Article Published

This publication is looking for thought provoking articles that are aimed to motivate and empower. Content of articles must not contain obscene language. Must be related directly or indirectly to the fashion, music, arts and/or entertainment industry.

Audience

Young adults ages 18-35 in urban/suburban areas who have an interest in pursuing careers in the arts and entertainment industry.

Submissions

Assignments

All writers selected for assignments with Mirror Mirror Magazine should be able to provide at least 3 professional references and sign agreement contracts upon approval/acceptance of the assignments.

Length

Articles, Columns, and Feature Articles’ word count are between 500-1,500 and will be determined by Mirror Mirror Magazine.

Photographs

It is optional for photos to be provided by writer for article assignments, any images submitted must be owned by the writer of the article.

Feature Articles (between 500 to 1,500 words)

Uniquely selected topic article on various issues of the Fashion/Entertainment Industry/Business. All feature articles must

remain consistent with Mirror Mirror Magazine’s editorial mission. The writer has the freedom of proposing their own article topic, however it must be related directly or indirectly to the arts, fashion, music, media, or entertainment industry. If necessary, we can provide specific title assignments for feature articles.

Compensation

Compensation for contributing freelancer writers and/or long term writing team members will range between $10-$25 per piece

depending on the length.
